I think interior designers are born with an innate desire to create and transform visions into reality. So it came as no surprise that as a small child, I began my design career by recreating from memory the floor plans of friends’ homes that inspired me.
It was after studying design at both the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and the UCLA School of Interior Design, that I began my career in merchandising and display which furthered my appreciation of proportion, light, color, and texture. These four simple ingredients along with suitability, have helped me to create spaces that offer both comfort and function. My interior design projects during the past 30 years have taken place in Beverly Hills, Brentwood, San Marino, Santa Monica, and also Atlanta, Boston, Costa Rica and Kauai. In addition to the residential work, there have been commercial projects including the popular Pacific Palisades breakfast destination, Mogan’s Café, and Rustic Canyon Golf Course in Moorpark. Also, it was with great pride and equal success that I opened a full service design/retail shop in Beverly Hills in 1995.
My design work is enriched by my appreciation of history and culture, and a continual awareness of the newest trends, fabrics, and technological innovation in design and construction. I have also integrated recent advances in environmentally friendly and sustainable products and principles whenever desired and appropriate for my clients.
My clients know that their home is a unique reflection of them, and no two projects look the same, as you will see in the gallery. I welcome the opportunity to create with you, a beautiful, welcoming and unique home.
